FAQ's

Can I use the Swan on my existing bottling line?
The Swan integrated bottle partition will work on almost every bottling line, with some minor modifications.  If you have an automatic case erector, it most likely has a mandrill which pushes against the inside of your case when the bottom flaps are glued.  A prong or foot attachment has to be added to this mandrill.  We are happy to provide more detailed information on this modification if you are interested.
If you are currently using a hand pack line, you can begin using the Swan without any changes.

Will the Swan work for multiple bottle shapes?
Every bottle shape requires a slightly differently shaped insert, and so Swans are not normally interchangeable.  We do have an extensive library of designs and inserts, so we may already have tooling for your bottle shape.

What Bottle Sizes will the Swan work with?
Swans have been designed for everything from 12 oz beer bottles to gallon jugs.

How many cells can the Swan support?
We have designs for four packs, six packs, twelve packs and twenty four packs.

Are people using the Swan now?
Several customers are currently using the Swan for wine and liquor bottles.

Is the Swan Proprietary?
There is a national and international patent pending for the Swan design.

Where can I get the Swan?
Currently, Alliance Packaging is the only place that you can purchase the Swan integrated bottle insert.  If you are interested in getting samples, or a trial run, please contact Scott Younger, General Manager of Alliance Packaging at 425.291.3500, or e-mail at sdyounger@alliancepackaging.net
